A Letter to the congregation

Hi! 

Let’s keep washing our hands, keeping social distance, stay careful, and pray, not panic, show faith, not fear, and grow in God’s grace, not get lazy.

God has a few blessings for us in this time. Church isn’t a building or a typical Sunday service although both are useful for God’s work! 

I officially want to announce that after a text discussion, we will suspend church gatherings at the Desert Light facilities for March 22 and 29, and ask our leaders for input again what our recommendations will be for the following 2 weeks.

As this virus outbreak continues we’ll reconvene in our church building when the epidemic has abated. If you are in need, let us know! 

God is in control of everything and we trust Him that He will even make us stronger in this time. 
In “Sermons” you will find Sunday’s message, a devotional study of Nehemiah Chapter 3, part 1. I’m trying to do a video of it for email, Facebook, UTube, etc. Please pray I can pull it off! Video is way overdue!
