The Gift of a Christ-Centered Home, Pt. II

Eric VillanuevaChristmas, Sermons

we want our homes to be a place where Jesus lives and
people know He’s there. Joseph and Mary had the first Christ centered
home and we can learn from them by looking at the singleness, engagement, and
marriage of Joseph and Mary. God chose two people in transition from singleness to
married life as the ones who would would cooperate with Him in His plan to invade our planet with His physical presence.

The Monster, The Magi, & The Messiah!

Joseph and Mary were temporarily homeless, made a difficult journey having to go
uphill almost 3,000 feet, sacrificed their reputations (do you think their friends, family, and
neighbors assumed the Holy Spirit put the baby in Mary’s womb? NOT!), ran for their lives,
lived in poverty, and yet what they did was for all of us to have the hope we have.

My way! Not your way! Family conflict. All conflict. Strong wills clash . Emotions fly. Feelings hurt. We hold it
in or express it but it’s a fact of life. How do we handle it as
believers?

God isn’t Shy; Hearing from God:

God isn't shy; listen and hear from God

How
do we hear God’s voice? What’s it sound like? When it comes to

Knowing God and His Names: XIII

Eric VillanuevaSermons

An important part of getting to know someone is knowing their name. God gave to
us names and titles of Himself that reveal who He is, to us. To not lose people and to
entice their interest, we often try to dance around speaking of God, but in this savior
thing God has said, “Hey this is who I am to you, can you deal with this?”

God's Names 12 YHWH Tsidkenu (Jehovah our Righteousness) Jeremiah 23

Yahweh Tsidkenu, “The LORD, our
righteousness,” is from Jeremiah 23:6 and 30:11. This name has a biblical context.
Human and God’s righteousness are different. One is only declared righteous by God
when God becomes one’s righteousness.
